El Grandstream DP720 es un terminal inalámbrico con pantalla a color y sonido de gran calidad. Tanto el auricular como el mircófono del teléfono soportan sonido HD y dispone de un altavoz Full Dúplex para comunicarse con las manos libres. El teléfono es robusto, a la vez que ligero, por lo que podrá llevarlo con usted siempre que quiera. La pantalla a color muestra información muy práctica, como la fecha, hora, cobertura, batería, identificador del terminal… y un LED le informa de sus llamadas perdidas. El menú es muy intuitivo y el teléfono resulta muy fácil de usar. Cuenta con características básicas como el modo silencio, bloqueo de teclado y acceso rápido al buzón de voz y dispone de agenda interna (que se configura en la base) y agenda externa mediante LDAP, que permite tener la misma agenda que en otros teléfonos que también disponen de estos servicios.
